Bio Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, Michael spent five years in the business world before continuing his education. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1990 and worked in a mid size litigation firm in Toronto for the next three years. In 1993 he moved his practice to a smaller firm in the east end of the city and struck out on his own a year later. Over the next 13 years, he added 3 partners and moved the law firm to its current location in Pickering Village, Ajax.

An experienced litigator, Michael restricts his practice to family law and civil litigation. Michael has argued cases at every judicial level in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has successfully conducted many trials and has yet to lose at the Court of Appeal despite numerous appearances.

Of particular interest to those involved in a matrimonial dispute, Michael is a family mediator who not only has an extensive background in family law, but also extensive mediation training and 8 years mediation experience. In fact, Michael has successfully mediated every case on which he has acted as a mediator.
